Papers, mostly dealing with Zionist activity, including an article by Goldstein written to a Yiddish newspaper in 1946 concerning the upcoming elections of the Zionist Organization of America. There is also a brochure of the United Palestine Appeal entitled "A Brivele der Maman," written in Yiddish, evoking images of a soldier son in Palestine writing to his mother who was separated from him by the Nazis in Europe and is now looking down at him from heaven.

Abraham Goldstein, born Dec. 30, 1893 in Kiev, was an insurance executive in Hartford, Connecticut, active in Democratic politics in Hartford, and a leader of the Zionist movement. He served as vice president of the Zionist Organization of America, was on the executive committee of the American Jewish Congress, president of the Connecticut State Zionist Region, and chairman of the Emergency Committee for Palestine.
